What up SP Forums. I've been a long time reader and visitor of the site but this is my first post. I can honestly say that this forum is what influenced me go out and buy the SP 505. I watched olby's videos of the 505 and I was like "yeah, I fucking need that."

That's what got me and my brother started in electronic/hip-hop music production. It's been a couple years, but my set-up still revolves around the 505. My brother added a 202 to the arsenal, and we're rocking those things with the fucking basic version of ableton that came free with my usb interface.

Anyways, I just uploaded 4 new tracks of sample-heavy disco music. They are really short tracks, but very detailed. This shit owes a lot to hip-hop and I was inspired by The Bomb Squad, DJ Shadow as well as Justice and Todd Edwards when I made the tracks. These influences are ingrained in what I do, no doubt.
