Crazy! I almost bought one this week too but the owner seemed a little shady. How do you like it so far?

...well, is the sound i dreamed of :D
no seriously, there are other similar analog i like:
roland mks50 (very niceeee!!!), a rack...
roland d50 (wow!)
yamaha tg33 (not very similar in sound but very nice)...
i bought the 106 'cause it was , in this case, more cheap than usual and it was at 15min from my home so i could try it well...
if you find one be sure that vcf and vca work well and dco too...
only one thing: this is not a small synth (99cm)...

DOPE off-beat drum parts! And those synth parts...
If the forthcoming ep gonna be full of such climates I will be the one who gonna get it.

This sounds like an adventure in the city trying to avoid dime beggers and Hari Krishnas, they will haunt you down a block or two if you don't give them something.

I dug the accordian piece and liked how you did that bass sound on this, really fit perfectly. Keep em coming. I see you got your own style busting out now.

yo i listened to this last night and then again this morning and i got some thoughts on it.

first things first the drums are funky, wonky and generally dope.

that said, i dont really feel the different synth parts together, i dont have an issue with them clashing a bit cause i feel where their contrast is good but i think the part that comes in at 0:23 is too loud in the mix and could benefit from being dropped down a bit lower.

Also the main synth part doesnt have enough atmosphere in my monitors (this might just be my equipment), it kinda sounds hollow. i thought it was just my laptop speakers when i listened to it last night but this morning through my proper monitors im getting the same feeling

cool slow down iso/wah out toward the end though.

just 2 cents.

peace

my monitors are unbranded mediocore pieces of junk i picked up from a friends dad, so its entirely possible that the problem is entirely my end, but i listen to all my music through them so its a relative assessment.

i would still consider a re-mixing if you were gonna release it properly. The track is worth getting just right.
