I bought Reason 5 earlier this year, only just getting around to using it now. Here's a short test run of some mildly glitchy beats shit. Any & all feedback's appreciated.

2 Star Test Beat

Cheers!

I made a pattern-based looper/live-chopper in Reason if you want it. You may find it useful. It's like a cross between kaoss pad's looper and 404's looper.

Hell yeah! That sounds like it could be a really interesting set up.

A couple of years back I made a stereo pseudo-grainshifter patch (trying to rip off the KP3 grainshift). If you still use Reason I'll dig it up/recreate it in return.

I pull it out now and then, but my go-to on PC at the moment is a combination of Reaper for audio, ReNoise for editing and PxTone for sequencing.

Reason's only still around for when I need a 'GM-ish' sound, you know, regular sound..piano, strings, etc.

I like the program a lot. I've always defended it's 'no outsiders' mentality towards VST, it's just not something I'm into or needing these days...
