Made a few housey styled beats with the use of my SP808 I recently got off gumtree in the UK! Paired it up with the Korg Volca and I've been loving the effects and creations you can get out of the this thing!! Would appreciate any feedback!

Really enjoyed that! Nice flow and space in your beats.. like locked but not machinelike -- real human sounding and relaxed.

A tip as a longtime owner - take good care of the zip-drive man, esp. if it's an original... if a disc starts acting weird just back it up and chuck it cause it can wreck a drive. Second-hand drives suck and unused/new internal zips are rare af.

Thankyou man, appreciate that. Exactly what I was going for, loose swinging and relaxed with a human presence. Just need to structure them appropriately now.

Yeah man I'll take note of that, doesn't seem to be the most reliable technology, I do think it's the original zip disk, but all seems good at the moment. Considering I got it for £100 im really happy I have all this sampling power for so cheap, many people on the mpc forums seemed to doubt the 808 but honestly surprised by how powerful it is and how nice the pads are. In great condition too!
