This page has not been edited in 10 years- wow- there are tracks there made all on Yamaha RS7000, was way before I had an SP. Plenty of found sounds, chopping and sampling going on though!

I love the RS7000 so much. It is so detailed and fun and the loop remix feature is wicked on sliced samples or other tracks. The more I use the SPs and such the more I appreciate the pitch knob, fine grain editing, 480ppqn resolution, odd time signatures, etc.
Also got the ESX yesterday and wow that thing is such an awesome upgrade from my ES-1. It sounds so good, has great expanded features (fx, parts, sound quality, build) and it can import samples from the es-1 using same card, I'm really stoked. The 555 is cool too but I really miss true pitch adjust. Love the xlr input though. Also have to use a filter to prevent 555 from triggering pads on 404sx via Midi.

RS7000 is a beast though, I forget how long it took me to learn.
