I'm thinking about making a tape with tracks that will probably sound like this track I made yesterday:

http://soundcloud.com/ripaddo/ammonia

I've always loved reese basses (that bass is a reese bass right?), and I was wondering if this track appeals to anyone on here who shares love for reese basses aswell. If so, I might do a tape with this kind of stuff.

Just doing an inventarisation.

Fuck yeah dude. That shit is sick. Ive actually been working in similar shit haha, just dirty ass bass lines and thumping drum breaks. Definitely make a tape of that shit. So raw.

Song gave me imagery like a crazy mummy wreaking havoc on a bunch of unsuspecting people. Good shiz!

Sounds ill. Creative.
I think tracking it out and seperating the bass from the drums and applying a lo pass filter to the bass would set it off.
I'd like hearing more bass gone into detail on SP productions. Commend you for putting effort into the Lo end of your stuff. It's often overlooked.

I'll give that a shot, Matt. And yeah, when it comes to playing things myself I'm pretty much a bassline guy. And once again I've always liked reese basses like those in Drum and Bass, so why not implement it. ^^

And thanks a lot for the enthousiasm! This will be enough motivation for me to make a tape. :D
