Old records, mp3, tv, radio, tapes etc... Look for old soul records to find a good horn, try Art Farmer for a shortcut to the glory, but we all just stay on the look for sounds from anything.

DUDE, you know Mr. Ed too; what a small world.

i sample a lot from internet and movies, but i don't mind the digital(non-warm if you must) sound.

I sample my AN-200 and a few samples cds I made (mostly drum and synth samples from the net). I like old movies and cartoons with orchestral scores as well. Other than those anything is subject to get sampled.

vinyls most of the time; tapes, cds or even MP3 sometimes if I can't find the sounds I'm after on wax. I've just got my SP recently and I've been taking it out with me on the weekends for some motivation. I've been sampling any sound that catches my ears using the built-in mic: sounds in the subway stations, chinatown.. I've even gone as far as sampling myself humming a melody, a bassline or mimicking a drum breaks so I can chop and use that later....

it can go on and on lol

Pretty much exactly what hematurge said. I once made a snare by sampling myself dropping the spine of a birthday card on my kitchen table into my 202 thru LOFI2, hehe
