Best/favorite drum sequencers?
I've worked with Akai MPCs, guitar pro, and FL studio.
I liked guitar pro best, it was like writing sheet music.

I have no idea- but I'm salivating over this korg micro I'll be getting in a month or two. The workflow, and it's cappabilities/features seem incredible for the price. Seems like you can do pretty much anything on that joint. I'd hate to abandon the 404 though.

I've worked on a MPC 2k classic, and now monomachine.. gotta say the feeling in the mpc is hard to beat. STURDY shit, you can really take it for a ride..
The monomachine however is perfect for more bound rhythms n the parameter locks really rock.. so as soon as I can afford it i'm getting an mpc again :D
