i use this one

http://www.amazon.com/ART-Pre-II-Phono- ... B000AJR482

got it for about 50 bucks... I use a preamp instead of a dj mixer because my sp goes directly into my computer through usb.

I would recommend to try out something less expensive than that radial and see if ur happy with it. I'm happy with the preamp I got and I don't really feel the need to upgrade. If anything, I might put more of that money towards a better cartridge for the turntable..... but.. if it wasn't for my usb setup... I'd prolly go with a dj mixer

got the radial in today. i cant even begin to describe the quality difference. i usually have my line in at 100% and you still cant hear shit. with this its at like 15% and the sound is super crisp and loud. cant beleive ive been running straight to to sp!

Plus you can have up to 3 separate outputs. RCAs to the SP, 1/8 to a computer (or another SP) and some leftover XLRs if you have a mixing board or mic pre! No more constantly unplugging- which taxes the RCA outs on the average TT~
