so you have two loops in one shot mode that you sampled or made

and you dont want to sequence them

you try hitting them one after the other but theres always some sort of slight error in timing....and it usually sound atrocious

so i figured this trick out a while ago but never really used it like this

when you hit reverse after a sample its instantaneous (not sure about ...404 confirm this?)

and if you hit the reverse again it restarts the beat

so instead of hitting the pad over again you can reverse and reverse again to play it over
this on one loop can cover up some timing errors, miss the beat and with ninja speed hit reverse twice and restart the loop WITH NO GAP IN SOUND

so I've known that for a while but I tried something new today

I had two loops at the same tempo in one shot mode

I hit one let it play and

on the beat before the next sample WOULD be played, very quickly hit the new loop's pad and almost right after the reverse, and then on the beat where the new loop will start hit reverse again continuing the phrase without a gap and with a cool sliding reverse sound

you could do this anywhere near the end 1/4 to the end of the loop, or 1/8th to the end of the loop
or play both but with one reverse if you so please...

theres no limit on how fast you can switch between original playback and reverse thus creating cool glitches like this

it takes a bit of ninja action but you'll down get it in a few minutes

Dope HD. Yea the 404 does instant reverse and unreverse....or whatever. ill def try that next time i dont have a right fit in a sample.
