Any one have any tips on how i can clean up kicks i get from records.

I got the sp 404, I love this machine.

maybe take a bit off the highs while boosting the lows with the equalizer or isolator

maybe use the center cancellor to get the thump of it, copy that and layer it back over

if all else fails try compressing it.

Yeah, then resample with a noticeable reverb on top and definitely resample another kick onto it. That way you'll get both the best sounding and most pumping kicks.

Only chopping of one end of the frequencies, tends to ruin volume and overall sound.
