is it possible to some how use all the following items together?

ableton live7
reason 4
sp-555
m-audio oxygen8 v2
tascam-DP-02CF

or even just
reason 4
sp-555
m-audio oxygen8 v2
tascam-DP-02CF

i have all these items and currently use live with the 555 and reason and the oxygen8 together but wanted to do it with the tascam for learning how to multitrack for a more hands on approach... is this possible?

yo jay, i have a digi 8, Just lending it out to a rocker friend for thrash metal.

anyway, are you looking to hook all the machines together and have a phat tweak out session. That would be hella rad.

just use your imagination. no such thing as too much gear. you just can't use it all at once . lol. im shure someone might disagree.

anyway. the best thing about digital recorders, is auto start for mixing seperate tracks. no drift with midi ( i think ) . thats all i got now. peace

guess i really don't have to much expertise in the area of running stuff in and out of your comp, but can't you just do a final out to the tascam and mute tracks using ableton (or however you can mute tracks) so it does it one at a time

the only reason i don't multi track more on my zoom mrs8 is cause i have no way to sync up tracks, so if i did just bass kicks on one track, gettin the hi hats right on the next could be a bitch, the only way i really fuck with it is drums with one, then play the pads live for the samples over it, thats useful though cause then you can have the sample without drums in its own track which you can resample for more bass and lay under it
