I've seen that. It's cool and all, but I rather keep it old school, raw and lo-fi.
To much tech shit going on is robbin' your creativity.

I tend to disagree, because in live situations this won't help those talentless popstars..... well, yeah, unless they won't ever actually sing live. Which would be quite pathetic. :D

I don't know... the price is a bit steep, but being a guitar player myself and knowing how much it can suck to have a nice jam bút with one or two errors or so in it, it could be nice being able to just edit your work afterwards.

yeah, A lot of pop singers lip sync at concerts- its just rare that they totally mess up and get exposed.

There's a lot more you can do with this than voice modification. :/

true, but whenever there is more focus on the engineering than the actual work of the artist, well.......... just turn the radio to some modern music and see I'm talkin about.

Sometimes I think how all the classic rock and hip hop song I love would have turned out if there was this much focus around a computer.

but like phemox said digital technology can be good to fix small errors in a live jam but this may be a bit OD for something like that.

alot of the editing of errors/talent seems to already be made easy with protools, i think this looks interesting/amazing from the standpoint of editing samples to really fit in with the song you're working on

We definitely need to expose them all then. 8) I know some bands that have really awesome lead singers on records, but horrible on stage. Those people definitely do sing live. :P

I have Autotune 6 which is great for your singer (but bare in mind make sure your singer can SING first).. I was also told that this type of software will make a bad singer decent adn a great singer amazing.. Use it wisely.. almost all your popstars use this stuff.. Alicia Keys uses melodyne, beyonce uses autotune, Christina A uses melodyne.. you guys get the point.. many people depend on this so much.. it's almost to perfect and sounds fake.. they take the life out of it...

I use mine for my softsynths to move them in different pitch you can really get some tight sound effects... I gotta try using samples
