Combining Patterns on the SP 404sx

Is there a way for me to combine patters on the sp404sx? I have 2 patterns with the duration of 2 bars each. is it possible to combine them to make one pattern of 4 bars?

But does it really matter, as you can easily play one pattern after another in time anyway?

Export each patten to your computer,
Then samples them to 2 pads then record them as one patten.
