mine would be rs7000 with faster cpu, more ram(not really needed, but fuck it), internal hd, cf reader(!!!), metal case and mpc2000xl style pads and auto choppin function that lets you assign your own chops. oh yeah and asr-x ad/da

a mpc 1k with jjos2xl, except with all the dope effects of the sp 404 and 555, especially the djfx looper that you could set your track to play on each seperate sequence.

also the ability to record audio tracks into them (like the mv8k can do), so you can record verses, and also the ability to connect a mouse and screen too.

or even just giving the 555 or 404sx mute groups would be a HUGE plus for me.

or giving the 606 the djfx looper effect would be pretty cool, along with 12 audo tracks.

You nailed it. Throw in USB audio interface & data transfer, hot swappable cards, and ability to loop like the SP-555 but no 15-second limit... I'd spend $2000 on one.
