looks like mc 909 a warmer sound, the spectrum looks more taylored and smooth.

ill have a look at the rest, but im convinced 909 is the best quality of the bunch, could be wrong though,

dope sampler collection .

notice the 303 doesnt shape the frequency as much and colors the highs .

im not going to show my forensic results for each, but

the st 224 is warm like the mc 909.

the rest are sharp and spikey like the 303, lots of other things make for sound quality though, i just like spectrums because im a spectrum nerd.

either way, its cool. i can't really tell too much dif either, but i'm on a pc with a pretty bad soundcard right now.

guys i think i have maybe to remake that because as Fauna noticed i forget to put every sampler in stereo :D
remix 16, su10, mc909 and es1 only are in stereo...the others don't...maybe kp3? i don't remember.
it was just one rapid take, so sorry.

@kel
have you tried with monitors too? many samplers here seem to have very similar sound indeed....but as quantum noticed, mc909 and st224 (and i add remix 16) are a bit different...personally i feel differences between the sps: the 303 seems to have some "background colour"...
@quantum propaniac
sweet work man, have you used Audition or cool edit or what?

i use both. but i usually stick to cool edit 2, becuase it is faster, but i use the adobe when i need super quality, I used to use it for 32 bit mastering and it pretty much changed everything I thought i knew about mastering.

redoing them to stereo shouldnt matter, or change any results, unless you exported and wanted to do hard core detective work on them.

cool! i still run '99 version of cool edit pro! version 1.2...the fact that i succeded to install it on a 64bit version of window surprised me. i brought a little bit of '90s into 00s :) ...

Great job, thanks !

Should you decide to upload new files, you could consider posting them as .wav (uncompressed) format.

didn't hear much difference other than the 303 and 224 being a little muffled. might be interesting with a more traditional sample like something 70s with drums and rhodes...
