 Post subject: saturation from a DJ mixer?

anyone able to do this with the mixer they own?

edit: not sure if saturation is strictly tape saturation but what i mean is if its possible to push your mixer into the red to achieve some nice distortion?

if its analog you ought to be able to.. you might not get enough amplification though..

U basically want everything to be up as high as possible. Set the channel to phono or use the mic channel to get increased amplification..

Also try boosting all 3 eq knobs all the way up.
