so i was curious.

for me when leveling out my samples, i tend to start with the drums, then level my chops, then level my bass, then level my hat.

was wondering if there are any standard approaches to leveling out there that people use? or if you guys just level whatever calls for it first.

whatever call first but i don't think it's the best approach since sometime I need to level everything back up in amadeus or audacity...

Hey do you just mean like mixing volume levels?. I just listen if something is too loud I turn it down and if something is too quiet I turn it up. I would say follow your ears, each beat is going to be different!

Yo i always get my kick square and comfortable with thr master volume.
Then after that get the bass under the kick
then just make every thing quiet untill i
need it. Kind of a greedy bvanker when it comes to muy sounds though, so it might help for a trademark sound ,
