Madlib is on some confuse the masses shit...he claims to never use the internet and doesnt have an email address....he doesnt even want anyone posting his samples, yet encouarges people to sample him....dude posted all the Madvilliany Samples and got comment from madlib himself saying hes ruing hip hop and junk for revealing'em...only 47 people got to download the samples before it was removed by the blog owner

I could believe the sp303 was the main tool here ...nothin but mad obscure loops here ....

*2nd Fav album of all time*

he didn't want those samples posted cause they aren't cleared and he and wolf would be paying out the ass for one of stones throw best selling albums thats been out for like 7 years, and its not like it was madlib himself, i wouldn't doubt that dude barely browses the net, he's like 35, he probably hates that shit, some intern from stones throw or something sent that email cause he was told to

Quote:
Consider yourself lucky if you were one of the few (76 total) that were able to download the Madvillainy Original Samples. As of today, the post has been deleted and the files have been removed from Megaupload’s servers. All of this was done at the request of Lord Quasimoto himself.
Quas reached out to me today on MySpace and requested that the post be removed. His reasoning was that “pages like this on the internet are no help at all to people like Doom, Madlib, and those that work with them.”

yeah, i'm still sure it wasn't madlib, thats just how they are puttin it, its comin from higher ups at stones throw that are in charge of that shit, they even quote madlib in the third person in that quote, so unless he plays the quas character that hard, its worded a little ackward, or its not madlib, i remember readin that shit a while ago, kevin nottingham blog or whatever right??
