I thought using the ext. mode and the headphone jack on the 303 would help me out with the the extra output issue. You might be right though about an extra audio card to tackle this. I might try it with one of the 4$ usb soundcards. Maybe that'l do the trick.

If the cheap usb interface only has 1 pair in 1 pair out it wont really help unless you can create a composite device (merge both inputs + outputs from the laptop + the cheapo usb) - im not sure if u can do this in windows, u can in mac OS.

Otherwise you need an interface with 2 completely separate pairs of outputs.

That thought crossed my mind as well.. I might give it a swing. For a couple of bucks it's worth the risk.

If you usio the free asio driver asio4all you'll be able to merge separate outputs and inpfuts :D

I assume you are referring to mergin both the usb soundcard + the onboard soundcard with the asio4all?? So all in (2) in/ (2) outs are usable?
