thats where messing with software helped me figure this out. like mentioned b4 the low pass filter does the trick. and im sure cats back in the day for the 90's production had added consoles they run the drum machine through for those extra filters. im sure its possible on the 404 tho just resampling the sound a few times with isolator and filter or subsonic bass. definitely a science to it on the 404 i havent quite figured out yet too.lol

i know the s1000 filters are bad ass for making bass lines,

I'll try to upload an example tonight. Its kind of like Isolator fx.
