there is another way to pitch samples on an sp, but as of now, i only know how to make perfect octaves, it speeds up and slows down the sample too. this is how .

convert the sample rate of your sample to 48000 hz to lower your sample one octave, it will not play slow on your computer but your sp will play it back at half speed, to speed up your sample double set your sample rate to 32000 hz, both of these have a different difference from 44100 hz. what i am trying to do next is find the equal note value in corresponding hz values to plug into a tuning algorythm , for tuning with this method of sample conversion, i hope this makes sense. i tryed splitting the frequency range betweeon 48000 hz and 44100 hz in to 12 equal parts but some keys sounded bad, this , if anyone knows how to do this , you should let me know. thanks

for windows right now, complete with GUI. just waiting for feedback about this new program, that pitches your sample 12 times right to your card like MPC 16 levels. props to francis turkey and sinapse
