I've been using my drum machine, electric keyboard, and turntable for the majority of my sampling and i end up deleting them once i wanna make another track (of course)

what are a couple ways of saving the samples so i can use them later without sound quality loss?

the only way i can think of is individually record them into the computer and name them...but wouldn't that make the sound quality bad?

i actually meant what if i could save the "project" as a whole somehow and bring it up later...i think people can do that on the MPCs, they just have to save it to a floppy disk?

you can 'export' or 'backup' some things to the card - depends which SP you are talking about though! - and of course you wont be saving any of the other gears stuff.

Best to check your manual

The MPCs are like that because they're designed to be the sequencer/centrepiece for many pieces of gear.

Save the whole content of the card on the computer and just bring it back when you need it.... On the OG404 the content of bank A+B are NOT on the card. If you only need certain samples, export them... patterns can't be exported/bounced.

...not sure if that's what you're looking for...
