I have an SP 303 and a pc running FL Studio. Now I want to be able to run samples through my SP into FL's Edison. Then when I program, chop samples and beats I want to be able to run it back through into the SP without any hassles such as (un)plugging, rearranging my cables.

(What would be even better is to have some sort of an audio 'loop' where I run sound from FL into the 303 and resample it into FL! I have been trying to achieve this but I get alot of issues with phasing and other sound issues making my ears bleed)

Perhaps others have experiences. Basically I'm looking for a setup where I can maintain a quick workflow and have both the FL and the 303 collaborating effortlessly.

By the way, I have the following gear:

Vestax PMC 05 PRO (2 x technics 1200)
[2 line/2phono - 2 main out]

Focusrite Saffire LE audio interface

inputs; 2 Focusrite preamps, 2 balanced Line I/Ps and stereo S/PDIF I/Ps
[8 Outputs; 6 balanced analogue outputs for creating separate headphones/monitor mixes or 5.1 surround monitoring, plus stereo S/PDIF Out]

Any advice is welcome! :)

I think the hassle might come from linking everything up to the mixer. If you have an RCA to eighth inch cable connecting from the outs of your 303 into the line in on your computer then another of the same cable connected to your computers headphone jack and the 303's in, you should be able to go seamlessly back and forth. Once you find out if that works, I'd rewire everything to accompany your other gear.

You are right I have something similar right now set-up. But I get a lot of feedback and I don't really understand how I can reduce this. It always comes unexpected and loud as F###. Or I get the signal and it's distorted, not clear and/or loud enough. Control issues.

When I switch from my DAW sound back and forth to the 303 these things occur. It asks me too rearrange sounds settings (mute this or that) so I don't get that feedback. Pain in the ass basically.

I don't really understand the techniques/ reasons behind the noise and feedback issues. So neither do I see the best possible solutions.

If someone has any pointers regarding this sort of problem please inform me.

Have the 303s RCA IN receiving audio from your audio interfaces headphone jack. Have the 303s RCA OUT into the the audio interface. When you want to sample into the 303, lower the volume on the 303 all the way as to not create a feedback loop. This shouldn't be a problem because you can still hear what your sampling thru your monitors. When you wanna sample the 303 into FL's Edison just hit record and make sure your 303s ext source button is off.
Simple
