yo, how's everybody doing? i got a little question. got a macbook pro recently (os x lion) with ni machine as daw. i downloaded the db audio ware side chain compressor demo version. on their website it says that "low noise bursts" may occur. well, these "low noise bursts" occurred and so i deleted the files of the b side chain. but those noises still occur, wether i'm working in machine or cut something in audacity,... man, what the hell should i do? i'm tired of these "low noise Bursts motherfuckers".
would be glad if someone could help me!

Sounds like some of the files are still in your computer. Those low noise burst sounds like the demo noise that some software makes when you wanna be cheap and only use the demo, kinda like a water mark. And im not calling you cheap, im probably calling you un-resourceful because you should be able to download a copy of that shit for free if your so inclined. But you should do a search for anything db audio ware related. Im more of a windows user but i have a mac laptop from work and i know that macs and pc's differ with installation of software. pc's you can uninstall, macs, you just delete it from applications but there could still be a trace of the software left behind. If not, try re-installing the software your using to record. Weird that your getting those burst without even using the plugin. Took a look at the website and its not the greatest site so maybe thats a bug that they weren't aware of and you might have to track down whatever the cause of it is, some random .dll(for pc, dont know what it is in a mac) or completely reinstall your mac operating system to get rid of it. Thats all i got. Try reinstalling audacity first.

that doesnt seem like it should be happening, weird

can u tell us exactly what you deleted from where

are you sure you didnt accidentally record the noises on top of whatever else you were doing, so now theyre part of the file?

ya, i thought that too but i assumed that he would know automatically if it was in the recording visually using audacity. Might just be a bug. Like a bug that propellerhead would fix but something that db audioware might sleep on.

the thing is if he deleted the plugin there shouldnt be any software left to contain a bug.. im thinkin he may have not deleted the right thing, or its been recorded in.. but its hard to say
