 Post subject: basslines with the sp 303

hey i was just wondering if anyone has any good techniques for making basslines on the sp 303 they are willing to share.

c.canceler is dope for filtering basses... gotta resample in mono though.
(kill the hi's / ctrl 2; raise the bass if needed / ctrl 3)

Well, for one you can resample while recording the external in. So, for the 303 that's the best way. Another way is sampling each note that you want to be included in the key of your bassline. If its too digital sounding, I will add reverb and use a lo pass filter to get rid of the high parts of the reverb, so you can have a little decay tail.
