When I apply delay to a sample and play it in a pattern, the delay time adjusts to the beat. Is there a way to resample that 'perfect on beat delay' sample?

As far as I have tried it does not let you do this. Just when you turn the pattern off and try to resample the delay fx speed of the delay will go back to default. So this was a big shit for me when I used explicitly 404 now on 505 you can do this easily.

I think it repeats it at a slower speed when the pattern isnt going. So just adjust the quantize setting. I could be wrong, maby I just adjusted it and it just happened to work out for my beat.

If you resample your sound with the delay on 1/4 or 1/8 notes it should fit into your sequences when you make your beat.

i THINK this will work..

if you press resample + rec + define the bpm and then press the pad i think i would work.. maybe you have to switch place of the two first operations..

Maybe this will help:

The 303 or 404 "sets" its delay time based on the BPM of the sample, and if you have a group of samples the effect is applied to, then the sampler will set the delay time according to the pad with the highest numeric BPM. So if you apply delay to both a 75bpm pad and a 97bpm pad, the delay will set to 97bpm.

So.....

If you want the proper delay applied to a resample procedure, you need to have one pad you're going to not hit/hit that is the proper BPM (and it needs to be a higher number, just switch 68bpm to 136bpm, etc...) and apply the effect to it and the pad you're going to resample. Once you start recording, the sample should delay properly.
