 Post subject: HELP! how do i enable "trigger" mode on a SP-404sx

Just want the sample to play till the end with one hit of the pad. Been looking through the manual and it talks about trigger mode but i dont see how to get the "gate" button to go dark.

weird thing i did not see in the manual is that as far as i can tell you can not change the "gate" button on any of the first 5 banks? i had to move all my samples to the last 3 availiable banks....wow.

after you hit a sample pad you just hit the gate button to turn off gate... never had any trouble on any bank before

yeah man you just push the gate button.. it should always work, sounds like there may be a deeper issuee

your banks are protected cause you are using the factory SD card. the manual will tell you how to unprotect and then you can fuck with it as much as you want.

I never climbed the ladder in front of me to see where it did not lead. Only when I had never reached the top would I not have seen if the climb was not worth it.
