Your not supposed to do that. But i have done it a bunch of times without a problem. I just make sure that i dont take the memory card out while its loading.

I still don't see why you would want to pull out the CF card while the SP is turned on.

i used to mess with my mc 505 like that, everything it said not to do in the manual i did, well eventually my screen started to flicker alien code and all the knobs and buttons got haunted and moved by themselves, so unless you want haunted gear, dont do the things that the manual says is bad.

I wanted to do it for faster switching of memory cards during shows but thats okay i can just turn it off really quick
