Hi everybody,
I bought a sp-404 and a new compact flash memory card.I have 2 problems:
- I can't open The 4 Banks from C/D to I/J, the knobs doesn't light up (i hope it is like that its says, i'm french)
- I know to use a new copact flash memory card, i have to format the card in the sp-404.But to format they explain taht i have to use "cancel+remain and the 4 Bank knobs" and the knobs doesn't react.
I can only switch between Bank A: Original Samples and Bank B: Empty (Internal Banks). So my question is: Is it me or is my sp-404 defective?
Thanks a lot!!
Marco

Sounds like:

Either you are doing something wrong,
or the compact flash card is defective.

Double check your methods for formatting etc.. maybe put a full list up here, of exactly what you are doing to set up your card.

Also you will see the 404 only supports certain brands of cards, make sure you have one that is supported.

I think you need to format first.

Hey everybody,

Ok it was my fault, because i forgot to read that it supports maximum 1Go comapct Flash cards and mine is 2Go.Today i went to a store and I bought a 1Go and it works perfectly.
