When I resampled a loop with a filter used, there's a certain amount of silence at the end of resampled piece, because i stopped m-seconds after the sample finished playing.

Is it possible to resample just the sound of the sample, without additional silence at the end?

Maybe I'm missing something.

 Man, you should really read the manual
Hold MARK at the beginning of the sample, and press MARK again right after the sound ends.

theres no way to get it "copied" everytime you resample its like recording it again, the way i do it though is to do the resample and get it as close as you can hitting REC to stop, then put the sample in reverse and trim the end off till you hear sound, then TRUNCATE(hold del, press mark)

You just got to mark it as close as you can and adjust your start and end points by hitting the start/end button and using ctrl 1 and 2. If you dont need an effect and just need an exact copy you could always use the "flylo" backup trick.

the one thing that always bugged me about the flylo trick for that though is that you are resampling an effect so you don't have to put it on it, which the flylo trick doesn't cover at all, i really only find it useful for patterns, but thats where it really shines anyway, just turn on loop and trim it up proper man, or use the pattern sequencer, the end points won't matter

Yeah, I'm pretty anal bout that shit, if my chops aren't close to all the same BPM I'm not using them.

i dont even look at the tempo of my chops.

if the sample matches the beeper, thats good enough for me.

End points won't really matter if you're gating...unless you use REVERSE mode.

yeah i'm sayin, if you got a loop and wanna resample it with an effect and you are gonna sequence it, don't worry about the end point cause you are sequence it on the 1 anyway and the end isn't too long cause you already have the loop, i like having some drift over between my chops, not a ton, but a little bit with vinyl sim comp makes the chops sound way smoother, i always front that reverse end point trick to find where a melody ends or a bass kick from the next note is gonna hit so i don't have drift over like that, but if you already got the shit the way you got it and are resampling to sequence, don't sweat that blank space at the end

Hmm...I'll have to give this reverse mode trick that you speak of a try...thanks for the tip.
