You know, just the regular 'tune' +/-.
I find the pitch changer, which changes the pitch without changing the speed and I find the bpm change, to change the tempo without touching the pitch.

How do I do both? And no, I don't want to do one, resample and then do the other and resample again, that sounds like crap.

you can't do both at the same time.

one of the "flaws" of the 404.

you'll just have to do both, or do it externally or something.

The closest possible thing is the DJFX filter (tweak the CTRL 1 and CTRL2 knobs) but it still produces a glitchy sound.

You can only pitch down though. But it's still very workable.

thats cool.

mostly, i do timestretching in Audacity. the algorithms for just changing the pitch and slowing/speeding up samples are just better than the SP can do.

sometimes i use my MPC1000 for the 16 Levels stuff, and resample those.
