If i plug in a single mic that is stereo, and is set up with two seperate recievers in one microphone in an xy formation( like a rode nt4) will i then be able to make stereo samples or is it still not an option?

i don't see why not but i never tried. i used to have a minidisc recorder and at 1 point i plugged in a stereo mic and it worked fine.. dunno

when i record my beats into my 4 track , i pan the tracks then record it back into my SP in stereo mode and it works awesome for stereo mixing .
