hey, I have a SP404 a few days ago and I have a question

Can i play 2 patterns at once?

I mean, record the kick pattern and in another pattern record the snare and make them sound at a time instead of simultaneously.

sorry for my bad english,

I'm afraid you can't.

what you could do is make one pattern with the kick, then one pattern with the kick and snare, then one pattern with the kick, snare and hit-hat and keep going like that. You can then switch between patterns and they'll play in time

Thank's preqwal

And when I make a pattern if I'm wrong with the kick I cannot delete just the kick track? Do I have to delete the whole pattern?

(sorry for my bad bad abd english :x )

No worries :D you don't have to delete the full track, you can delete individual hits. You just need to play the pattern, have delete selected and press the pad that you want deleted at that specific time. It's quite cool the sequencer, when you get to grips with it

You can only copy patterns on the 404sx!

There is a crazy work around on the 404: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q5q90OmW7EQ

It's a bit clumsy, but it works.

The copy function was one of the main reasons I sold the 404 and got the SX. Makes life so much easier copying samples over to chop etc.
