COULD YOU EXPLAIN ME IF THERE IS A WAY TO CREATE DIFFERENT NOTES.

FOR EXAMPLE: YOU HAVE A BASS SAMPLE. IT'S AN *E* OR AN *A*. CAN I PICK THIS SAME NOTE AND TRY TO MAKE IT AN *G* OR A *D*?

I KNOW THAT THE CHROMATIC PS EFFECT CHANGES THE TONES, BUT IT ALSO DISTORTS SHIT A BIT. AND I CAN'T SAY I'VE BEEN SUCSESSFUL DOING THAT...

SO...

IS THERE A SURE WAY TO DO THIS???

THANKS

with bass notes I use the pitch effect first and then filter it second. The more you adjust the pitch the more it sounds fucked up so I dont go to extreme high or low notes.

the pitch FX gives the sample a fucked up sound, filtering out the highs and mids on a bass sample can make it sound better.
