So I've been loading wavs onto my CF card successfully in the past, but recently some of the files I load that sound fine on my computer playback high pitched and at faster speed when I load them and assign them to pads on the 404. anyone help? :(

g'day

the samples must be at 44.1 kHz, check p 38 of the manual, second column

you can use a convertor to change the samples

sure man

i use DBpoweramp: http://www.dbpoweramp.com/

once this ^ is installed, select all your samples with the mouse and right-click

there should be an option Convert To

make sure you are converting to WAV, then select 16 Bit 44100 Hz

once the samples are converted, you can reload them onto your CF card and they should play at the appropriate pitch through your SP

let me know if you have trouble
