i was sampling from a record and was turning up the input gain on the 404 till i heard it clipping really badly. oddly, the peak light didn't light. i de-lighted the mfx button and suddenly the peak light turned on again. mfx button again, it went out. same thing happened a couple times with the lo-fi button. this is frustrating because i rely on that light. anyone having a similar problem? maybe it's not the buttons i'm pressing that triggers it, because it only happens about half the time..
