 Post subject: Sp 404sx line in sound too small

Hi thanks for reading

I usely sample from my ipod but everytime i have to do this

i have to put my ipod volume almost all the way up and

also put my sp 404sx volume all the way up to get some loud sound

so i always have to normalzie the sample i got in my mpc again..

i tried input gain and it only stays 0 or lower it dosen't get any higher even i tweak all the knobs..

am i doing something wrong??

Same situation for me. Have you tried running your ipod through a mixer to boost the signal?

did you try hitting [start/end] and turning up the level of the incoming audio? Neither the volume knob on the 404 or boosting the output gain will affect it...

not sure what you mean by zero or lower with the input gain

yes i did the [start/end] thing
and even i turn the volume to the highest
it's still to small


i was saying
the function input gain..

use the isolater or EQ FX on your EXT SOURCE and turn all three knobs to the right... this will raise the gain
