Hello guys, I bet that some fo you already have this nice MIDI controller by M-Audio, called Trigger Finger :)
I wanted to do something for this superb SP Community and I decided to configure some things in Enigma editor.
I hope you will find it useful.

I made two packs of presets which you can download here:
UPDATED: viewtopic.php?p=31523#31523

You need to insert it to Enigma/User Preset Banks folder, load it using Enigma software, find it in "Devices and Files" window, and click "Send the current bank to the device". Remember to save your previous preset banks, because they will be overwritten.

The first one, called SP404.xml consist of 14 presets.
You can set a preset u want to use, simply by clicking Memory Recall button and specific pad next.
Here is an image showing how are they organised on Trigger Finger Pads :

No longer exists: The second one, called SP404-2.xml consist of 6 presets ( P1-P6 on Trigger Finger ).
This pack is designed for SP Users who like to chop their samples on computer and then tranfer it to SP.
You can create up to 6 sets of 16 chopped samples and then play them with 16 pads like e.g. BoonDoc does.

You simply create those 6x16 samples, name them alphabetically, transfer to CF card, click CANCEL + RESAMPLE, then REC, and choose the C1 Pad ( providing that your CF Card and Banks on SP are empty ).
Now you're ready to blast with your Trigger Finger :)

So, like I said, I hope you'll enjoy it.
With kind regards
Lhu, Poland.

P.S. If you find some errors, just message me please.

That's awesome, can you make a modified version for the 303?
This is a great tool to have. :D

This is not that hard to make to be honest :)
It only takes "some" time.
Unfortunately, I'm not really into SP-303, so It'd require some help.
But nothing is impossible when it comes to SP-World ;)

Is there a way to simply "plug and play" a Trigger Finger to an SP-404?

Nope :/
Default pack of 16 presets already loaded to Trigger Finger doesn't work with SP. As far as I remember, when I plugged TF to SP and checked all the 16 presets, I heard mostly nothing, only some pads triggered samples from SP but it was random thing.
There is really not much effort doing what I've said in the 1st post.
Anyway, If you encounter any problems, just write it here or write a PM.

I guess it's time to update the already-dead links.

Due to my hard disk crash, the only presets that left are the first one mentioned in my first ^post ( I sent them from my TF to PC ).

Now, when I bought additional sequencer, I think I will make a better use of my Triggie :)

This is the overall presets scheme:

Wax, I dont think it has either of those functions built in. However Im pretty sure you can set the maximum velocity of each pad you want, using enigma editor, but it wont take you a minute :P

I lost this picture and imageshack deleted it also so you wont see this beautiful artwork :P

But here is a new one.

Image

I dont have trigger finger no more so I cant recall exactly how the last 4 pads work ( those with #16 written on em ), so as soon as you work it out msg me and I'll update the picture
Basically I think it was something like 8 first pads from bank A/C and 8 from bank B/D, plus 12 pads from bank A/C and 4 from B/D - but I can b wrong.
let me know

the .xml file is still there on rapidshare so ejnoy:
http://rapidshare.com/files/175477990/SP404.xml

and to swith your current pad assignment just hit the "Memory Recall" button and then the specific pad with the bank number you want to control.

I got no "install disc" for it; do I need one? Thought the drivers would be enough? You know there are vista 32bit sp I drivers... I just don't understand why the tf don't shows up on windows. :?

Any tipps???

hmm... I remember I also had some problems at first, but eventually everything ended up well. I've got winXP so I wont help you much with this one... Be sure to download the most recent VISTA driver - that's all I can advise you - but on the other hand you've probably done it already :/
