Hi all,

I'm using the SP404 for a while now and it's really a great machine. I so far sampled and resampled, without copying wav files to the card, but now I have to dump some complete songs into it so obviously I would like to copy the files directly from my PC...

Can anyone tell how should I number the wav files so they show up as, lets say, Bank C1 to C12 ? obviously overriding the existing ones but without damaging the existing samples which are not in Bank C ?

Thanks a lot !

You should probably read the manual.

its C_01.wav to C_12.wav
Im not going to tell you how to load them after you put them on your card from the pc.
Itll make you lazy and dependent on others...
read the manual. If you dont have one...download it.
Its like a handful of pages long. Just read it

Location: The desert.
If you name the files on the PC 01, 02, etc. and import them they will get named by the SP and imported in the order of the naming. There is also an incredible app for file renaming for PC called Bulk File Renamer which is just fantastic- http://www.bulkrenameutility.co.uk/Main_Intro.php
But I agree- reading the manual at times like this is best place to start!
