Hey guys,

I've owned my SP-404 for a while now but I've never used it and it sat in the cupboard. Today I got it out and decided to finally dig into this machine.

I plugged the outputs into my KRK Rokits, and that's it. I am getting a buzzing noise. I cant ignore the buzz because it's rather loud.

I am using a 12V plug, but it's not the original 404 plug. Could this be there reason why?

the buzz will probably go away when you use batteries.

or you can connect a ground wire fom the 404 to the rockits. this will fix it too.

Could be. The original plug output is 9V, not 12V.
