On my 404sx when resampling a loop to another pad after I mark the loop the bpm is always reading way off, but the sample will loop exactly the same. In practice it is not really an issue since my loops still match, it just seems strange to me because I know I'm accurate at marking loops and chops on the 303 for years now. Anyone else experience this too, if so have you figured out whats up with it? Am I marking my loops improperly on the 404sx?

i never ever worried about my 404sx reading, to be honest they're off 80% of the time.

i know for sure my beat is around 88 bpm and it's gonna say 132 for one loop and 115 for another

EDIT: That being said, there's a way if you didn't know to press mark >time/bpm > adjust time > hit mark on time, and this feature SHOULD make you bpm fit exactly on time even tho you could be a bit off.

i tried it a couple of time... worked 1 time outta 20

Yeah I find that most of the time it reads some sack BPM. I just stopped paying atention and just make sure it sounds right. Its weird because it just divides the sample into 4 parts and determines the BPM that way, so if your loop divides by 4 in a weird way then its gonna be off. I don't bother trying to fix it because it doesn't really bother me, I just sync BPM by ear and it always works, a trained musical ear is way better then any other means of determining rhythm anyway.
