Hey everybody i've been wondering if i can save the effect i'm applying to a sample pad. For example if i use the eq on a drum can i save it or do i need to eq my samples prior to loading them onto the sp.

Thanks for any help

you can't save fx settings. but you can resample your effected drumsound to another pad.

but the 404 will remember your settings for fx so long as you leave the power on, so if you set the EQ, and then use a bunch of different fx, and come back to the eq, it will stay the way you left it.
