1. set any drum hit on BPM or DJFX looper.
2. trigger a loop with as much space inbetween each individual loop(so cntrl 1 knob all the way to the left)
3. Resample that hit while it is busy looping. Although while your resampling, press other drum hits exactly on the loop and not inbetween the spaces.
4. After youve resampled, mark the best hit combination and resample it with the effects until your happy with the decay and attack etc..
5. now you have a new snare, kick,HH or whatever drum hit you were(or were not but were satisfied anyway) looking for.

I find this is much better than doing it on a computer or mpc(well ive ever tried on an mpc), because of the unpredictable nature of the finished product. because you have got to keep in mind that what evers looping was probably only a portion of the drum hit. and in addition, the timing wasnt quantized when you resampled it, so its gonna have a much more looser feel with the hits not directly ontop of eachother...

although if you do want the full drum hit, use the delay effect, but its hard to time and isnt as much fun...

this is a wicked idea man, i really like the feel of the hits you get with it

in a pattern, you can use different hits from the same recorded combo. alternating between a few slightly different versions of the combo gives the beat a nice improvised feel
