Hi all,
as mentioned in the subject, I'm a new SP-404SX user, just got it a few days ago actually! :-) Now, I've got a really basic question, which I know is answered in the manual. However, as I'm completely blind, I cannot access that at the moment, and the PDF manual offered by Roland is unfortunately not readable using a screen reader (program that turns on-screen text into synthetized speech) as they protected the document in some way.
Anyways, I'd like to use a higher-capacity SD card with the SP-404SX, and I've read that in order to make this possible, I have to format the card using the sampler. Now, I know where all the buttons are on the device, but I really can't think of a way of doing it properly. So, could someone on here maybe be so kind and explain to me how to do it? Also, will formatting the card put in all the default samples that were also on the card that came with the device, or does it just setup the basic folder structure so that you can copy your own samples on the card?
Thanks a lot for any help! :-)
Robin

anyways, here's what's in the manual :

1. While holding down the CANCEL button, press the REMAIN button.

2. Press any one of the BANK buttons.

3. Press the delete button.

and that's it bruh!

hope it helps

forgot the second answer!
formatting an SD card with the 404sx will only create the folder files for samples, patterns, import, backup, etc.. it will not put back the factory samples of the original sd card that came with your 404.
but im sure you can find that pretty easily if you need 'em.
