using MFX2 (tape echo),
put the 2nd knob at hard left, 3rd knob at hard right,
then, when you resample, turn knob 1 at a "fixed rate" like cruise control on a car... going faster or slower at any time will make the signal jittery...

to pitch up, go from right to left, and to pitch down, from left to right. Resample this procedure until you get the desired pitch 8)

works better for drums than anything else, but it gives you about 3 seconds of pitching as opposed to using DJFX (about 1/2 sec)

yeah, i tried this a bit but got fristrated trying to get the right pitch... now I just use my ESX for anything that needs pitching.
