Can you have a pad that is currently playing be cut off by triggering another pad? So that you can cut off a sample mid-phrase with a newly triggered sample?

well the max poly is 12 or some shit- have muted pads playing so it reaches max poly and samples will cut out. more trouble than its worth.

when ur pad is on gate it should only play while its being pressed. if your timing is good you can do that shit live, but it doesnt always play back too acurate.

when you resample you can have only 2 stereo tracks at a time, so you have a blank pad that you play at the same time as whatever pad you want to cut off the sample thats playing. i use that trick all the time.

What if you're dealing with triggering patterns? Doesn't holding down the sub pad when triggering a pad let you switch immediately?
