I'm glad you've figured it out. It indeed works best to set the sample loop to the bpm you want and fits your drum beat, that you'll record live in pattern mode. That's how it goes.

i never really do lo fi...like ever now. i just use the mfx with multiple resamples so i can slam all the effects on! but yeah...
