i like memory cards. you can switch them back and forth like tapes. i wish i had a shitload of 128s. a 4gb goes great with an mpc but i don't know what i could do with a 1 gig card and have like 2 or 3 beats on my sp. all the extra space haunts me somehow. can it feel claustrophobic somehow to have too much empty space? actually i have a question rgarding this but instead of asking i'll click on the hematurge signature and try to figure it out on the search

Was just cruising around ebay, seen alot of 1gb CF's floating around for like $10. Just a heads up.

i actually usually always export, but thats cause my sound card sucks, the mic in is always semi blown out and just not good quality, but when i export, i am actually usually always real satisfied with how a track comes out soundin, i usually have gone out to a multitrack and back into the sp with my beat on one pad to export, with your options you can just use the comp for the multitrack so you don't need to go into the sp, if i had that option i would most likely be gettin busy like that

i wanna hook it up though so that i am not saving cuts i do on a card, instead my 5 cards i have i wanna fill up with just drums i come across, and keep the 2 internal empty and just use that as a work space, resample drum hits with space if i got to, whatever, then just wipe the internal pads and start anew again, i think i've come to realize that for myself this is the best way i could go about gettin shit done and workflow and all that, otherwise chops are takin up way to much space

Yes, you are wrong. what you do is wrong. You will be sent to jail for the crime of not using digital transfer methods.

I am a bit curious though about the whole "backing up" process while doing this though. (If OP even backs things up lol)
