Hey,

I have a 404 and Im using a Oxygen8 v2 for the controller. I figured out everything as a trigger but I'm still confused on how to use one sample pad and control it in a different pitch via my keyboard. Is this possible? Any info would be appreciated.

like if you have access to software that pitches samples (i think dirty pete made such a thing), then you can dump those onto your 404 and assign those to pads and then trigger those pads with midi keyboard, but unfortunately having a midi keyboard doesn't make the 404 a keyboard sampler.

or you can do the re-pitching all within the 404 and cross your fingers. or just figure out your end goal and then figure out best way to execute it within the bounds of feasibility, then you can do anything you want.

if u resample every pitch with the chromatic pitch-shift effect (make sure u resample the original pitch using the effect too so they are all the same quality) then it can soudn ok undeer alot of other layers.. besides that..

use turntable to pitch things before sampling?

so...
know what you need to do, to do what you need to?

actually you can't necessarily achieve *anything* you want to, because there might not be an answer in the realm of feasibility ;)
